Homemade Tire Rack Storage

If you re not up for building your own tire rack above the other option is to buy one.

Cut two 22 inch boards and two 5 foot boards. Use your measuring tape to determine where each 2 4 goes and mark the spots where they ll attach. Make a rectangular frame and hold it together using the clamps. My garage has an eight foot ceiling. I want 3 shelves if possible. I did not check the size of the big truck but that truck gets an all terrain.

Frame the sides of your tire rack arrange the pieces for one side of your tire rack on a flat surface. Alternatively you can use nails but lag bolts will provide you with a sturdier rack. This means my tire rack will be made 5 feet wide for some room and normal tires will have more per shelf. Check that it is perfectly aligned using the level.

Afterwards you need to assemble the tire rack by attaching the horizontal components. Add glue to the joints and make sure the corners are square. Use the lag bolts to hold them together. This rack anchors to the wall for added stability and utilizes a snap in rivet and keyhole design for easy installation.
